In 1999 he met Dan Hastie in a run down bar in downtown LA and together the two started to make music under the name of Projections, influenced by dirty disco, funk, psychedelic rock and house music. Their first single on Chicago's Guidance label became a minor hit, ending up on many compilations, and the guys went on to record a full album as Projections, which created major waves in the electronic music scene. As Woolfy vs. Projections they have recently recorded the concept album 'The Astral Projections Of Starlight' for Permanent Vacation

was reviewed:
Excellent compilation mixed by Permanent Vacation heads Benjamin Fröhlich and Tom Bioly, this is a dazzling reminder of the Munich label's quality disco house releases of the past few years. Completely filled to the brim with hits, the proceeds of this release go to the charity Play31. Very recommended!
