Cotton) and the electro-compilation 'Tangent 2002: Disco Nouveau', Ghostly has since become one of America's premier channels for a wide range of forward-thinking music, from abstract electronics to avant-pop. The second collaborative effort between Japanese piano meister Ryuichi Sakamoto and Californian guitarist Christopher Willits takes the form of six-part instrumental song cycle. The slow beams of cloud-like ambience align with the patience of planetary rotations and a strikingly uplifting energy. Highly recommended.
