I think in the time of the original HOUSE in Chicago had too many ideas to express, boundless creativity, and very little time (which was defeated) and besides the problems with record labels (will not say which) (but these problems were overcome as well), for that reason and many more, still find and enjoying so much (abundant and undiscovered) underground material which was not published at the time.
House music has surpassed barriers of time, fashion, styles, trends, arrived in the early 80 to stay forever (thanks God) tried to assassinate the origin of all was the Disco Music (still alive ... COOL!) and when the disco was dying in his penultimate breath of life... HOUSE MUSIC was born.
This delightful compilation by Christiaan Macdonald is full of incredibly good and impressive pieces that were never published in its original era, and now are available through the record label "RUSH HOUR"; This album is filled with an impressive richness of sound, quality and creativity as VIRGO FOUR only could do so, a record very precise and forceful, elegant and delicious underground, filled with sounds of old school but still sounding as fresh today as if they were new, a freshness impression and to leave all amazed. All tracks written by Eric Lewis and Merl Sanders, except track 7 written by Greg Gary.
A record for non stop dancing ever.

This album is a collection of unreleased tracks that were produced over a 6 year period between 1984 and 1990 in various home studios around Chicago... TIP!
These tracks were selected from 100's of 4-track tapes that had been untouched and unreleased all these years due to local record business politics and disinterest. These demo recordings have been restored and mastered for release. The CD release holds 15 tracks, while the limited edition vinyl box set contains another 15 tracks, totaling a cool 30 tracks.
Resurrection really shows the rich, diverse and unique quality of Virgo Four, which leaves you wondering what impact they would have made on the (Chicago) house scene if they would have gotten released back in the day.
For now we are really glad these gems have been unearthed and are proud to give Virgo Four the spotlight they so much deserve. CD comes in a deluxe jewel case box, the box set comes in a special designed carton package.
