Debut LP from Boris Bunnik under his electro alias Versalife sees him depicting the emptiness of his Friesland home. Drexciyan influences clear, yet Bunnik's own more muted deep sea dystopias, and weirder funk and hip-hop swing of 'Normal Behaviour?' and 'Emphasis' mix it up firmly in this decade. Truly wonderful stuff.

Working almost as a mini-album, the cosmic beams of the introduction ease into kicking, dark aquafunking electro tracks with dysfunctional basslines, balanced with the droney swaths of 'Scale'.
