Night Slugs is the blazing new label of London-based shooting stars Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990, operating on the intersection of 2-Step and house music. Featuring contributions by artists like Roska or Ikonika, Night Slugs is not strictly dedicated to familiar UK funky house styles, but open to deeper and more experimental productions in addition to the party anthems its owners are known for.

Night Slugs introduce new producers (or new names, at least), Velour, who seem to be working strictly from a loved-up palette of sounds judging by this debut release, 'The Velvet Collection', smothering 4-tracks with neon-colored synths and bubbly arpeggios. One for the ladies crew.
