At their prime something like a European equivalent to Underground Resistance, Unit Moebius was a pioneering techno crew, founded in the early 1990s in The Hague by Menno van Os ('Duracel'), Guy Tavares, Jan Duivenvoorden, and Ferenc van der Sluijs ('I-f'). Together they established the famous squat parties Acid and the Bunker label, gaining international recognition with their uncompromisingly underground vision of raw, jacking and industrial techno music. After a few intensely productive years the group disbanded around 1997, and its members continued with diverse solo projects.
