Osaka born Tujiko Noriko is an exceptional artist working on the boundaries of pop music and experimental electronica. Singing in Japanese and English over her fragile compositions, Tujiko has been frequently likened to Icelandic pop-fairy Björk. For her solo albums on Mego Tujiko Noriko transforms digital sounds into a pop-song format, but not as some quaint modernist exercise, but rather as a raw, enveloping and loving artistic craft.
