Paris-based Tolga Fidan drops this mini-album on home label Vakant, journeying smoothly through his various styles. Featuring guests dOP's Jaw, his brother Atilla and Jonny Cruz, his tactile and sexy yet heady and experimental take on deep house makes for very addictive listening. Don't miss it.
Tolga Fidan appears with his debut album proper, a year since his top mini-album 'We're Strangers Now' appeared. As usual, his sound strikes effortlessly, sturdy house base with smatterings of vocals, encased in heavenly synth swells and some post-punk leanings adding that edge which sets him apart.

Tolga Fidan uses sweaty percussions as a sexual metaphor for this two-tracker on Freak'n Chic. 'Nised' and 'Downer N°5' are two nice and abstract house tracks, adding chords, vocal snippets and jazzy elements that will prove their worth on any dancefloor between Paris and Instanbul.
