Tiga Sontag started his career in the early 90s as a DJ pioneering acid house and techno in Montreal's clubs and in 1998 launched the label Turbo Recordings together with fellow DJ Mark Dillon. Inspired by the then booming electroclash style he recorded a cover version of fellow Montreal artist Corey Hart's 'Sunglasses at Night' together with his Finnish friend and DJ Jori Hulkkonen - the song went on to become a major chart hit and awarded Tiga superstar status literally over night. Tiga followed up on this surprising success with a DJ Kicks mix-compilation for !K7, various collaborations with the likes of Mateo Murphy ('Hot in Herre'), Jesper Dahlbäck ('Pleasure from the Bass', 'You Gonna Want Me') or Soulwax ('(Far From) Home') which have led up to the release of his long awaited and universally acclaimed debut album 'Sexor' in 2006. His most recent project is a collaboration with Munich-based Zombie Nation under the name ZZT for which Tiga has managed to secure a remix by the elusive Justice. For his second album Ciao! he has collaborated with Swedish producer Jesper Dahlbäck.

Tiga's 'Love Don't Dance Here Anymore' has this distinct Paperclip People beat that just begged to be remixed by Carl Craig. The Detroit techno maestro heeded the call, and his two epic (12 and 13 minute) wildpitch techno takes are backed by a welcome instrumental of the Moroderish original. Bomb.
