Erlend Øye in 2003 as an electronic dance music project, The Whitest Boy Alive has evolved into a full blown band over the years, gaining wide-spread popularity with their unique blend of melancholic pop-funk. Helmed by Øye on guitar on vocals, the band's further members are Marcin Oz (bass), Sebastian Maschat (drums) and Daniel Nentwig (synths).
