The Sight Below is Seattle-based ambient artist Rafael Anton Irisarri, whose multi-layered, droning tracks are always performed live, running plucked and strung guitars through a series of loopers, reverb boxes, and delay units. The results are mesmerizing, multiharmonic washes of sound, frequently with a hint of a straight bassdrum, which appear on recordings for Ghostly International and have earned The Sight Below international recognition. His latest album 'It All Falls Apart' was co-written with Simon Scott, former Slowdive member and label owner of Kesh.
