With 'the true sound of total desolation' as its motto, the breadth of inspiring experimental music released by Type Records might come as a surprise. The label is run by John Twells a.k.a. Xela together with graphic designer Stefan Lewandowski, and the label's beautiful releases have been critic's and audience favourites for many years now.
