Tevo Howard started playing with his brothers turntables when a skateboard accident confined him to his home. The pastime became a passion, and during high-school and college, where he studied bass playing, Howard's vinyl collection grew. After a few more years at DePaul University, Howard eventually decided to focus on music full time, launching his own label Beautiful Granville Records in 2008. His productions have received universal praise ever since - classic, deep Chicago house rarely sounded this fresh.

The EP Pandora's Box was reviewed:
Chicago's Tevo Howard compiles his latest album 'Pandora's Box' for Hour House Is Your Rush following up on last year's 'Crystal Republic EP'. Tevo explores further into his trademark sound with 8 tracks evoking classic Chicago House and Acid, along with flashes of influence from New Wave and Italo. Essential House music.
