Tama Sumo Tama Sumo Tama Sumo Music Producer (MP3 Downloads) Artist Ostgut Ton
Tama Sumo is a phenomenon in the already colourful world of DJs and their capital Berlin. Having been a resident at the famous Tresor from its beginning until it closed down she sharpened her skills to such extent that it is no exaggeration to call her the most beloved DJ in the whole city. Her main field of activity for sure is deep house but if you already had the chance to see her behind the decks, all that stays in your head is an awesome selection of tracks not necessarily linkable to genres, mixed together as if she had never done anything else from earliest childhood until now. As one of the permanent residents at Panoramabar she uses her ability to command a dance floor day in and day out. She now has released her long awaited debut together with her good DJ friend and producer Prosumer.

One of our favourite Ostgut residents mixes the second volume of Panorama Bar music. As could be expected, the track selection is spot-on and Tama Sumo's subtle mixing leaves enough room to let the records speak for themselves, among those exclusive by Levon Vincent and Basic Soul Unit.

Tama Sumo's second collaboration with Prosumer is once again an intriguingly analogue and lo-fi affair, which substitutes sophistication with a huge portion of jacking soul. New Planet E artist The Oliverwho Factory contributes a fine remix of the title track as well. Bang those toms.
