Poker Flat is the minimal tech-house label of the outstanding Berlin artist Steve Bug, who alone is responsible for the A&R section. We liked TJ Kong & Modular K's recent single 'End-game' a lot, and the duo continues in this vein on their 'Dream Cargoes' full-length released on Poker Flat: Ten tracks blend dubby house vibes with Detroit-style funkiness and the expansive, melodic and cinematic sound-scapes of Eindhoven techno. Recommended.
