System is the supergroup of three veterans of the Danish electronic music scene: Anders Remmer (a.k.a. Dub Tractor), Thomas Knak (a.k.a. Opiate, further owner of Hobby Industries) and Jesper Skaaning (a.k.a. Acustic). The trio met back in 1994 and started recording together, first as D.A.W.N., later as Future 3, a project whose debut album 'We Are the Future 3' was released to much acclaim in 1995. Breaking away from their successful pop ambient style they recorded an album for ~scape as System in 2002, which reduced their sound to dubbed-out click and bass collages. With successful solo careers under htheir belt System's member have recently reunited incorporating elements of 2-step and dubstep into their 2010 album, 'B'.

A sprawling soundscape of hazy textures and dystopian beauty that sounds like Lee Scratch Perry at his most at his most experimental, taking some tips from Burial and Mount Kimbie. 'B' is rich with dense layers of sound, reverb and the barest hints of melody that still manage to get buried in your mind.
