Hailing from Manchester, Joe Synkro launched his musical career within the dubstep / 2 step framework, but has more recently been a driving force behind the fusion of d'n'b / dubstep and electronica / ambient styles, frequently dubbed 'the Autonomic sound' after Instra:mental and dBridge's influential podcast series, on which Synkro's music was frequently appeared. In 2012 Synkro signed to the newly relaunched Apollo label, which released his 'Acceptance EP' in 2013.

Containing eight tracks and clocking in at album length it seems almost an understatement to call Synkro's latest opus an EP, even more so once you sample the Mancunian's grand sonic vision of endless reverbs, warm pads and subtle dubbed-out beats. A perfect soundtrack for melancholy sunsets.
