Swayzak - apparently in Polish this means 'union' - was founded 1996 London by James Taylor (a.k.a. Darkfarmer) and David Brown. They have been making music together since 1993 and run their own label Swayzak Recordings (besides 240 volts run by Taylor alone). Their eclectic releases appear on their own label as well as on !K7, and regularly cause a stir within the scene. Ever since their hit album 'Dirty Dancing' they are regarded as none of the biggest groups in electronic music.

Whether on the long-format or on single, Swayzak know how to impress. 'Rons Conneticut Dub' is a trippy minimal piece, which holds its old-school chord progression back until minute 5. 'Montanza' is a bleepy Detroit-tech-style track on the flip. Nice one.
