Ever since breaking Daft Punk back in 1993, Soma has been playing in electronic music premier league, signing a great roster of in-house artists to the label such as Funk D'Void, The Black Dog or Silicone Soul.

Slicing and dicing a piece of techno history, Surgeon's 'Muggerscum Out' originally released on Soma in 1996 gets wrenched into 2011 with The Black Dog offering a punishing 'Sheffield' and a delirious 'Moseley' version, London's Perc and Glasgow's Alex Smoke updating the techno warcry admirably.
