James Pennington, a.k.a. The Suburban Knight, is a long standing activist of the first wave of Detroit's Techno scene. He first appeared on Derrick May's Transmat label releasing two stone cold classics entitled 'The Groove' and 'The Art of Stalking'. Also being tightly linked to the Underground Resistance family Pennington was responsible for releases such as 'Nocturbulous Behaviour' and 'Dark Energy' manifesting his reputation as one of Detroit's best producers.
