Fortek is a Rotterdam-based label for functional, yet soulful techno with a discernible Detroit heritage. It is run by Gert-Jan Bijl (a.k.a. Gerd, Literon), who has been famously recording his deep, drifting techno compositions for legendary UK label 'Evolution / Universal Language Productions' and his other label, 4Lux.

Gerd's Fortek label is a label which always has an ace up the sleeve that will surprise you when you least expect it. Stefan Tretau's latest effort for Fortek certainly is one of these secret dance-floor weapons and comes with a sweet remix by Andre Crom & Dekay.
