Like label mate Aphex Twin, Squarepusher operates at the most experimental end of the dance music spectrum. With jazz music being a key influence in his creations, his sound is like the bastard child of drum & bass, acid and free form or improvised classical music. Probably the only person in the world who can take the Amen break, and make it sound like nothing you have never heard before.

The Album d'Demonstrator was picked!

The Album d'Demonstrator was reviewed:
Squarepusher has always had a talent for funked-up pop songs ('My Red Hot Car'), something which has rarely come to light. Enter his new project, Shobaleader One, and debut album 'd'Demonstrator', which follows up the recent single on Ed Banger. Pure funk pop with Chromeo-style voice modulation and slow, hard-hitting 909 beats.
