The latest signing on Planet Mu is Solar Bears, the group of Irish musicians John Kowalski and Rian Trench. Naming their band after a science fiction film by Andrei Tarkovsky, the pair shares a love of cinema, and composers ranging from Ennio Morricone and George Delerue. The Solar Bears sound combines influences as diverse as folk-pop, electronica, and 60s psychedelia.
