Extremely prolific Austrian foursome whose debut album 'Transit' immediately grabbed international audiences in 1997. Initially known for their jazz and dub flavoured trip-hop, the Sofa Surfers have turned turned the pressure up a notch in recent years, delivering the raw energy of their famous live performances on their recordings as well. Two of the Sofa Surfers have further launched successful solo projects: Wolfgang Schlögl a.k.a. I-Wolf and Markus Kienzl.
