Sharing a common Scandinavian longing for hot and steamy disco sounds, Bård Aasen Lødemel a.k.a. Skatebård hails from Bergen, Norway. While his first releases in the early 2000s were still heavily influenced by old-school electro, his more recent outings oscillate between synthetic neo-disco and more raw and jacking techno sounds and mostly appear on his own excellent Digitalo label.
