Co-running the Skull Disco label together with Appleblim, Sam Shackleton has been a tremendous influence on the world of dubstep within recent years. Known as the master of big basslines, Shackleton has been carving out his own brand of eclecticism, notably involving elements borrowed from techno. He went as far as famously having Ricardo Villalobos contribute a remix to his label and move his residence from booming London to techno city Berlin.
