Belonging to the 'third wave' of Detroit techno producers, Sean Deason's career started when he met the early Plus 8 recording artists
Richie Hawtin,
Kenny Larkin and
Daniel Bell, who gave Deason a start in realising his own musical visions. Following his debut album '
Razorback', which appeared on
!K7 in 1996, Deason has recorded and remixed for a wealth of US and European labels including
Puzzlebox and
Echospace [Detroit]. His own label
Matrix Records has been in operation for more than 15 years and has broken great artists like
Convextion and
Stewart Walker.
