Paul Rose a.k.a. Scuba is one of the most notable artists boldly expanding the dubstep sound universe. His own productions as well as his label Hotflush Recordings regularly explore the tangents and off-roads of the style, incorporating influences like minimalist dubtechno or experimental percussionism. Scuba currently resides in Berlin and there is no denying a recent mutual influence between Rose and Berghain artists like Marcel Dettmann.

The Album Triangulation - Interpretations (+Video) was reviewed:
Scuba's epic Triangulation album gets a much welcomed expansion with 'Before' and 'You Got Me' fleshed out and revamped. The select roster of remixers allows for some sick reworks on the house, garage, techno and electronica terrains that the original strayed onto. Double whipped heavy!
