The Helsinki-based Kemppi drops this one on Berlin's Suicide Circus Records. Apocalypse is still the dish of the day in 2013, despite what the Mayan calender said, three strong tracks with the title track's mincing tense structures, crashing percussion and haunting atmospheres a true delight. Recommended.
Another strong release for Finland's Samuli Kemppi on Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver imprint. The title track broods dark tones and a sinister shuffle, whilst 'Complex Numbers' lashes out with punishing rhythmic patterns. Includes a mean claustrophobic dub edit by Planetary Assault Systems.
