One of the brightest young producers to emerge out of Glasgow's much hyped electronic music scene, Rustie cut his teeth producing classic Detroit electro as part of Voltaic, before setting out on his own. Defining a musical style that combines Drexciyan electro roots with dubstep elements, neon-coloured synths and sequencers gone haywire, his tracks and remixes have appeared on labels like Kapsize and Hyperdub, before being signed to the mighty Warp Records imprint.

The Album Glass Swords was reviewed:
Glasgow's prodigal son has churned out so many hyperactive hits, you might think he would run out of steam.
