Gameboy sounds encounter string arrangements, distorted drum machines and women choirs in the productions of Roman Podeszwa, whose music can be best described as excentric pop. Despite his second album on Karaoke Kalk, 'So Ghost' becoming an indie hit, his punk attitude divides critics to this day. For his 2010 album 'S/T' Roman has for the first time assembled a band, with which he also tours live, most recently supporting Suzanne Vega on her Germany tour.
