RNDM aka Oliver Kargl is one the core members of Hamburg's Dial Records crew, as well as releasing on the vinyl-only Laid imprint and collaborating with Efdemin as the excellent experimental house duo Pigon since 2004. Active as a DJ in his hometown in Austria, he moved to Vienna in the late 1990s, where he studied at Vienna's Institute for Composition and Electroacoustics (ELAK) and continued his passion for electronic music. Now based in Berlin, his DJ-sets and productions are marked by a strong influence of the deep and soulful sounds of Detroit and Chicago whilst clearly also incorporating experimental aesthetics.
