Ritornell is the project of young Austrian composers Richard Eigner and Roman Gerold. While Gerold is a trained jazz pianist, Eigner has made his mark as a sound artist, but has also contributed as a drummer to various productions, such as Patrick Wolf's album 'Magic Position'. The duo's debut album 'Golden Solitude' is receiving wide spread acclaim from Cristian Vogel to Bruce LaBruce, who has used the piece 'Concrete Leaves' for his melancholic zombie flick 'Otto; Or, Up With Dead People'.
