Also know as one half of Lazy Fat People, Raphaël Ripperton started his DJ career in 1993 and has since then done plenty of highly credited remixes for the likes of Shinedoe, Laurent Garnier, Beanfield, or Radio Slave, and released his productions on many renowned labels.
Together with Sam K he has launched his own imprint in 2006, Perspectiv Records, which is dedicated to the Detroitish, deep and dreamy techno Ripperton has become famous for.

Ripperton's '1976' is a deep and dreamy house tune, adding a distinct flavour with its long build-up, walking bass-line and melancholy moods. Sebo K changes the tone entirely for his remix, substituting Ripperton's subtle drums with jacking 909s and straighter chords for dance-floor pleasure.
