Compiling Regis' earliest recordings '1994 - 1996' starts out with his seminal 'Montreal' EP from 1995 and progresses relentlessly through one pounding, spiraling techno classic after the other, such as 'Surface', 'We Said No' and 'Careless Pedestrian'. Reduce dosage if side effects occur.
The third of three volumes compiling Karl O'Connor's early recordings '1999 - 2001' oscillates between beatless ambient and symphonic compositions on the one hand and Regis' unique brand of stunning percussive techno on the other. Indispensable - as are the series' other two volumes.

2010 has been the year where Sandwell District really hit their stride. The individual styles of Function, Regis, and Silent Servant perfectly complement each other, as impressively demonstrated by the collective's two label samplers. Regis' edit of this Silent Servant track was one of the definite high points of the year.
