Finally some new material by Recloose and surprisingly we're treated to four club-friendly gems on his fittingly titled 'Saturday Night Manifesto'. Opener 'Electric Sunshine' maintains an electrified boogie vibe throughout, but for 'Parquet' and 'Tecumseh' Mr. Chicoine moves into soulful house and even techno territory. Great.

Brilliant retrospective of the early works of Recloose, who like no one else knows how to work those soul and jazz references into futuristic house music tracks. Includes unreleased and rare material, as well as five additional tracks to the CD version.

Rush Hour issues the first of a two part series presenting the early work of one Recloose, the talented Detroit-area producer, who sprung into prominence via a chance meeting in a sandwich shop with Carl Craig. A crossbreed of funk and techno, this is perhaps some of Recloose's finest work.
