David Kennedy, a.k.a. Ramadanman and Pearson Sound, has lately become one of the leading figures in a new movement within the dubstep world: artists like Martyn or Appleblim who are eager to pick up house and Detroit techno influences in their sound, while staying true to the advanced beat structures that made dubstep great in the first place. Besides production and DJing, Kennedy has his hands in running the Hessle Audio label.

The EP Ramadanman EP was reviewed:
The Ramadanman drops a massive new EP on his own Hessle Audio imprint showcasing an even more mature sound on the tip of jungle, dubstep and breakz, referring to the early days of UK bleeps. If Hessle Audio continues its strong run of releases in 2010 we might have to build a shrine for them.
