Started by , Jason Arigato and 'Miss Le Bomb' Catriona Shaw in the late 90s, Queen of Japan is indeed a real band, specializing in loosely defined electronic pop music while not shying away from the occasional screaming glam rock guitar. Besides recording three studio albums and quite a few singles, Queen of Japan have developed a sizeable following as a party-compatible live band, performing pepped-up cover versions from Joan Jett to Rod Stewart, some of which are included on their popular 'Headrush' album.
