Born from of the ashes of Vienna's Mainframe label in 1994, Mego was a seminal label for experimental electronic music, from ambient to noise, quickly gaining worldwide recognition with artists such as Fennesz or Farmers Manual. Mego suspended operations in 2005 and was succeeded by Editions Mego shortly thereafter.
