A new release from former techno powerhouse Tresor is always a nice surprise these days, especially if its such a strong one as Psycatron's 'People In Glass Houses'. Belfast's Planet E duo unleashes a storm of lavishly filter chord-techno, including a beatless tool ideally suited for on-the-fly remixing. Strong!

This first collaboration between Paul Hamill and Phil Johnston aka Psycatron (with releases on Planet E and R&S) and Paul Woolford (Renaissance) flies the flag high for UK techno in 2010. 'Thunder' utters mean shuddering stabs and nimble percussion, whilst 'Cloud 9' drives a warmer floating high. Solid.
