In the beginning mainly used for living, working and exhibitions, the Ortloff now has become a centre of art and music subculture at Leipzig. Inspired by its creative atmosphere, artists, designers and musicians came together to produce their own record. This interchange of ideas represents the EP 'Ortloff 1' - a unique piece of art and music, including the talents of Marko+Fürstenberg.

Leipzig's Ortloff label confirms its status as an imprint to watch with a five-track EP by Michael Kohl aka PorkFour. 'V/OCT' is a versatile beast, its tracks ranging from the disco-tinged opener over electro-funk and downbeat electronica to the marvellously abstract, Actress-like title track. Excellent.
