What is it that Austrian producers have with hairdressing? Like Patrick Pulsinger, Peter Kruder was cropping hair while making his first productions. The kick-off for his musical career was with the Austrian hip-hop group 'The Moreaus', which he formed with his teenage friends DJ DSL, Rodney Hunter and with Sugar B. He then teamed up with his long-term partner Richard Dorfmeister and everything to follow should be history. After his glorious years as K&D, Peter Kruder dedicated himself to his solo-project Peace Orchestra. More recently he pooled forces with Christian Prommer and Roland Appel (of Trüby Trio / Fauna Flash fame) for the Voom:Voom project, where the three producers put the lush grooves aside and focus more on the dance floor side of things. 2009 has yet again been a peak year for Peter Kruder with releases for the Gigolo and Macro labels and taking over production duties for DJ Hell's 'Teufelswerk' album.
