Also recording his music under the name Turner, Paul Kominek uses his Pawel alias for his releases on Hamburg's revered Dial label. Born in Poland, and raised in Frankfurt, Kominek produces a broad spectrum of music, and his vita includes successful film soundtracks ('Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei'), as well as remixes for Giardini Di Mirò, Ellen Allien, or Tocotronic. As Pawel he focuses on deep, melodic tech-house with a classical feeling to it.

Paul Kominek releases his first album as Pawel on Hamburg's revered Dial imprint: Deep, melodic tech-house with a classical feel to it. Kominek's indietronica roots (as Turner) can still be discerned in tracks like the housey 'Dawn', or the reflective 'Mate'. A lovely album and a must for Dial fans.
