Kevin McAuley, better known as Pangaea, has come a long way since first discovering the intricacies of a two-track mixer a keyboard and a tape deck as a schoolboy. Immersing himself in the growing dubstep scene in Leeds, it wasn't long before Pangaea founded the city's first dubstep night, Ruffage, and took to the studio to hone his skills as a dj and producer, emerging as a talent to keep your eyes and ears focussed on. In additions to his productions and sought after dj sets, Pangaea is co-owner of Hessle Audio with friends, and dubstep artists in their own right, Ramadanman and Ben UFO. With its cut up jazz bass and frenetic beat, tracks like 'Mosaix' highlight Pangaea's talent as one of dubstep's rising young artists.

After going fairly quiet on the production front for a while, Pangaea executed a killer return with 'Inna Daze / Won't Hurt' on Hessle, now Kevin McAuley moves like a true badman on Hemlock. 'Hex' brooding bass heavy junglist echoes and 'Fatalist' a fidgety yet beefy heads-down cut. Blinder!
