Rotterdam based producer and DJ Nukubus is part of Syncom Data and runs the highly recognized SD Records imprint. Nukubus started making music in 1995 while experimenting with a delay-unit during his internship with the Dutch Navy. Making the strangest of noises with this machine resulted in his co-workers giving him the nickname Nukubus: 'Nutteloze Kut Burger', which translates roughly into 'F***ing Useless Citizen'. In his early music making days he lived in The Hague and got in contact with the members of Unit Moebius. In their studio Nukubus made his first experimental techno recordings and he filmed their Lunemex Undo-ground video. Bunker Records released the first two Nukubus EPs: 'Survival Of The Funkiest' and 'Second Moon'. In 2007 Nukubus returned with the 'Europa EP' on Syncom Data, featuring two remixes by Detroit electrotechno legends Aux+88.
