One of the breakthrough artists of the season, Nicolas Jaar has been releasing his experimental deep disco house productions via labels like Wolf + Lamb and received much praise for his inventive remix of Ellen Allien's recent 'Flashy Flashy' single. Born in NYC, Jaar relocated to Santiago de Chile in the 90s only to come back to his birth place as a teenager. Haunted by Mulatu Astatke and Erik Satie, Nico started to make organic electronic music in 2004 at the age of 14. At 17, he made his debut with 'The Student EP' on Wolf and Lamb Music with a remix by Seth Troxler who called him 'one of the most talented minds dance music is about to see develop'. Now studying at Brown University in Rhode Island, Nico has releases coming up on Circus Company, Wolf + Lamb and on his own label, Clown and Sunset.

The EP Remixes, Vol. 1 was reviewed:
Nicolas Jaar's acclaimed debut album gets its first set of remixes: Pépé Bradock reworks 'Too Many Kids...' pepping up the sparse, sombre original in a hattrick of three remixes, each equally lush and intriguing. Dave Aju brilliantly perks up both tempo and groove of 'Space Is Only Noise...'. Smashing!
