Born and raised in Rosario Argentina, Nico Purman started out studying percussion and played drums in local indie bands before his love for vinyl pushed him towards a DJ career. Mostly recording for Germany's Vakant label he combines elements of spacious techno, deep house, and most even disco in his productions.
Second Crosstown Rebels release for Nico Purman and the Argentian producer elegantly nails it with four disco/boogie inspired house cuts. Brisk funk licks, touches of electro and spacious vibes make this a must for fans of Soul Clap, Francisco or Raiders Of The Lost Arp.
March has marched on by, but not without pouring a vernal cornucopia of fantastic releases upon us. As usual our newsletter is filled to the brink with our personal favourites of the month, neatly split into genres for your browsing comfort.

Berlin-based Argentinian Nico Purman releases his latest EP on Vacant, following on from the stunning 'All That Glitters Ain't Gold' last year. With a luscious disco flavour, he touches on Chicago and New York house throughout the four tracks, bouncing electro bass and smooth cosmic synths making for a spectacular ride.
