Nick Höppner Nick Höppner Nick Höppner Music Producer (MP3 Downloads) Artist Ostgut Ton
Head of the Ostgut Ton label and a longstanding constant as a DJ and producer for many years, Nick Höppner has kept himself busy with his highly credited project My My, together with his collegues Carsten Klemann and Lee Jones or as solo artist with fine releases showing his love for many terrains of electronic dance music. From harder techno to deeper house productions he can sure have one's cake and eat it too being cherished by the most different followers of the scene. As a DJ he began his career in Hamburg and after moving to Berlin he quickly became a resident at Bergain's forerunner club Ostgut and still is one of the few in the new location, who wins the crowd downstairs as well as upstairs with his unique sets, be it at night or during afterhours.

Man behind-the-scenes at Ostgut Nick Höppner, finds some time out to spoil us with a rare treat of his own productions. 'A Peck And A Pawn' swings a house groove with a gentle UK funky flavour, 'She Parked Herself' old school with an acid touch, 'Swivel Flick' utterly deep and dreamy yet gritty. Don't miss!

Ostgut Ton's impresario Nick Höppner delivers this solo single, consisting of the percussive tech-house groover 'Makeover', and the more electronic and trancey 'Foundling', which is a timeless after-hours favourite to many.

The Ostgut label's main man, My My's Nick Höppner strikes again with an EP of excellent bleepy house tracks, the most floor-friendly of which, the bumping and grinding title track, receives a remix treatment by his My My collaborator Lee Jones. Recommended.
