Started in 2000 as an electro and IDM label, Neo Ouija was discontinued in 2005 after many high quality releases by the likes of Clatterbox, Kettel or Apparat. The label was resurrected in 2005, much to the delight of its many fans.

Neo Ouija continues its tradition of releasing first-rate music without much fuzz or hype. NQ's 'Our Own Distance' certainly fits the bill: It's a classic electronica album fusing Raster-Noton's glitchy percussion work with elements of dub and emotional melodies. Excellent.
