Having a penguin as their official mascot is certainly not the only peculiar thing about the people behind Dutch electro outfit Crème Organization. Starting out as a sub-label of legendary dutch underground label Bunker Records managed by DJ TLR, Crème has appeared on the scene in the early 2000s, quickly establishing itself as one of the most exciting new labels for new-wave-flavoured electro, neo-disco and acid jacks. With input by renowned artist like James T. Cotton, Aux 88, Legowelt or Jamal Moss and backed by a strong visual image courtesy of Dutch comic artist Godspill, Crème has quickly found a sizable international fan-base and continues to provide a refreshing alternative to the usual over-functional dance floor fodder.

A mysterious UK producer unleashes this EP on Crème Organization beating strong for old-school Chicago house. 'Beyond This Life' an alien, electro atmospheric opening, 'A Hazy Memory' sparse yet dreamy fragments of a soft Chicago feel, the rest deep and quirky indulging a sultry retro finesse. Brilliant.
